Alfalfa is a green superfood that is rich in vitamins, minerals and chlorophyll. It is an excellent source of balanced nutritional content and has been used for many centuries. The ancient Arabs used Alfalfa as a feed for their horses, claiming that it made their horses faster and stronger. After using Alfalfa grass themselves, they became so convinced of its health benefits that they named it "Alfalfa" which in Arabic means "Father of All Foods".

Alfalfa (family: Fabaceae, the pea family) is a genus of perennial flowering plant, Medicago, most commonly referring to M. sativa L., also called lucerne.

(Medigo sativa) is very high in minerals, especially calcium, as well as in vitamins A,D, E, B6 &K. Also has four times the amount of vitamin C than citrus juice & is considered one of the most reliable sources of vitamin E for animals.
